As a 9th
grader, Carol Jenkins was told not to take any art classes in high school
because wasn’t an artist. Believing the teacher,
she did not pursue any other art classes for a rather long time.
In her fifties, someone told Carol she could draw and
encouraged her to give it a try. She did
and has been drawing ever since. Carol
stared with pencil drawings and even took a drawing class at Wenatchee Valley
College. A friend introduced her to
watercolor and from there she has gone on to watercolor, watercolor pencils,
and colored pencils. She has taken some
classes from local artists but for the most part is self taught.
Enjoy her art and her art style.
